- Leverage your practice management system (PMS) to get eligibility and benefits electronic transactions (EDI 270/271) – a real-time and simple way to get up-to-date benefit and eligibility information for your patients, delivered right to your PMS for easy access and future use!
- Provider portal – create accounts on provider portals for carriers you interact with the most. It’s then easy to get benefit and claim information online in the future. Carriers may have other functionality you can take advantage of like submitting claims, predeterminations, and appeal information online.
- Chat – some carriers now offer chat capabilities as a way to easily access benefit and claim information for your patients. If needed, a live chat option may be available.
